Idle Prattle
A 1 minute collage of experiments, Idle Prattle is an experimental film inspired by a tick of mine that’s developed in the past year or so, where I feel the need to dart my eyes in all directions.
I made this to get some feelings out at a time when I was feeling particularly frustrated and uncomfortable in myself. It was also a good opportunity to experiment more with the collage style I’ve grown so fond of. It was nice making something a bit more visually abstract than what I’ve been doing recently.
The compositing was mostly done in Blender, with some bits done in DaVinci Resolve. I was really happy with the sounds of the darting eyes.
